Who we are
This website is a lead generation service. We do not carry out subsidence, underpinning or foundation repair work ourselves. We collect enquiries from visitors who are looking for help with foundation problems on their property, and we forward those enquiries to one or more vetted, qualified specialist companies operating in the visitor's area.
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the postal address of the property, and anything you choose to tell us in the message field. We also collect technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer and device data. We may collect anything else you voluntarily send us by phone or email.
Why we are allowed to use your data
Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box and submit the form having read the on-form notice. We also rely on legitimate interests in operating a lead matching service so that homeowners can reach a specialist quickly. Where contact is needed to take steps before entering a contract (for example to arrange a quote you have asked for), Article 6(1)(b) also applies.
How your data is used
The information is used to match your enquiry with one or more partner specialist companies, to contact you about the enquiry, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve the service. Marketing emails are only sent if you have opted in separately.
Who receives your data
Your enquiry is shared with the partner specialist company or companies best suited to the work and your postcode. Once the lead is passed, that company becomes an independent data controller and will contact you directly. We also use processors for website hosting, email delivery and analytics. We do not sell your data.
International transfers
Most of our processors are based in the UK or EEA. Where any provider sits outside those regions, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted or fully anonymised. Audit data such as your consent timestamp is kept for as long as it might be needed to evidence lawful processing.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to its use, request a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already taken place. You can contact us through the contact form to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. Analytics cookies are anonymised and used only in aggregate.
Children
The service is not aimed at anyone under 16.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport, access controls and limits on who can view stored enquiries.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
